Well over a year ago, I wrote to you concerned about the carageenan in your almond milk. At that time you assured me that because of the outcry from your customers' concerns about it, you were going to discontinue using it as an ingredient in your almond milk. That was a LONG time ago, and you still are using carageenan as an ingredient. Why?

Whole Foods doesn't have it in their organic almond milk. Why are you still using an ingredient which has been known to be a carcinogen? Why did you tell me OVER A YEAR ago that you were going to discontinue using it? You really should stop putting it in your almond milk and any other product you make. It's very bad stuff. I've had 10 cats over the years, six of them ate a canned cat food, which had carageenan in it. Four of them died from cancer, and two others have cancer now. One of them, a sibling of one who died, never ate that food and does not have cancer, neither do my other cats who eat a food without carageenan in it . I know it's not scientific, but the only cats of mine who either died from or currently have cancer are the only ones who ate food with carageenan in it. I do not think it's coincidence.

Please stop putting it in your almond milk. I've switched to Whole Foods organic almond milk now, which doesn't taste as good. Until you stop using carageenan, I won't buy your almond milk anymore. I know I'm only one person, but maybe you'll listen to one of us and do the right thing.

Sincerely,
Carol Rohr

I love the broths from this company but I recently bought 2 containers of the tomato soup expecting it to be just as good only to be highly disappointed. I thought it was bland and just tasted gross to the point that I can't even it! ... See MoreSee Less

Good gravies but the packaging is a study in anal retentiveness.....good luck dispensing some without spilling. Who designed this, and are they still at large? ... See MoreSee Less
